Privacy Policy

Edifice View ("Edifice View," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by American Cornerstone LLC and provides a facility accountability platform for property managers and building owners to manage vendors, contractors, and internal staff across one or more buildings ("Customers"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — including for text message (SMS) alerts.
Information we collect
When a Customer sets up and uses Edifice View, we and our Customers may collect:
- Account information: name, email address, facility/building name and address, and login credentials.
- Phone numbers, when a Facility Admin voluntarily enters one to enable optional text alert features.
- Operational data entered into the platform: vendor and worker rosters, clock-in/out records and photos, checklist completions, incident reports, and related building-service records.
- Billing information, processed directly by our payment processor (Stripe) — we do not store full card numbers ourselves.
- Standard technical data such as IP address and browser type, collected automatically for security and diagnostics.
How we use information
We use collected information to operate and improve the Edifice View platform, provide customer support, process payments, secure accounts, and — only where a Facility Admin has explicitly opted in — send operational text alerts described below.
Text messaging (SMS) program
Opt-in. Text alerts are off by default. A Facility Admin opts in by logging into their own password-protected Edifice View account and entering a phone number into that building's Alerts settings, then saving it. No phone number ever receives messages unless it was entered there by the account holder.
What you'll receive. Operational alerts only — for example, a notification when a worker clocks in or out at your building. These are not marketing messages.
Message frequency varies based on account activity. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-out. Reply STOP to any text alert at any time to stop all messages immediately, or remove the phone number from the Alerts settings screen inside the app. Reply HELP for assistance.
No sharing for marketing. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties for marketing purposes.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us operate the platform (cloud hosting, SMS delivery, payment processing), bound by contract to use it only to provide that service.
- A Facility Admin's own invited vendors and staff, scoped so each vendor sees only their own company's data within a shared building — vendors never see another vendor's data.
- Law enforcement or regulators, only when required by law.
Data security
Access to facility, vendor, and worker data is controlled by role-based permissions enforced at the database level. Credentials and third-party API keys are stored in a secrets manager, never in source code. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold.
Data retention
We retain account and operational data for as long as a Customer's account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as needed for legal, accounting, or legitimate business purposes.
Your choices
You may opt out of text alerts at any time as described above. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, contact us using the details below.
Children's privacy
Edifice View is a business-to-business tool intended for use by adult employees, contractors, and administrators of buildings and vendor companies. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
